Air Traffic Control Reporting System (ATC-RS)
Kutta was awarded a Phase I and is pending a Phase II Air Force Research Lab grant to develop a system capable of delivering real-time UAS/SUAS position reports to both military and civilian ATC destinations. Kutta’s patent-pending ATC-RS provides current and future UAS with this position reporting capability to support complete UAS integration into the National Airspace System (NAS) and to promote safe deconfliction within military airspace.
To facilitate NAS integration, the Kutta ATC-RS utilizes multiple methods to exceed current and future NAS requirements including voice and data via satellite modems, and Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) messaging. Kutta’s ATC-RS product is unique in the industry—it combines various reporting methods into a lightweight device, capable of being integrated with currently fielded UAS.
